\tBachelor of Commerce with Honours in Accounting with CA (SA); or\u00a0
\n\tBachelor of Business Science with Honours in Finance \/ CA (SA).\u00a0
\n\tAny additional CFA, CIMA or other relevant degrees \/ professional designations would be advantageous, but not a specific requirement.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience requirement\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in business restructuring\/ leveraged finance\/ financial advisory preferably from a financial institution, professional services firm or banking background.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The candidate will be responsible for guiding, supporting and coaching junior team members while delivering high quality advice on a wide range of financial advisory and restructuring mandates, including, but not limited to:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tFinancial restructuring and exit strategies,\u00a0
\n\tFinancing and debt advisory related services,\u00a0
\n\tTurnaround strategy,\u00a0
\n\tIndependent business reviews,\u00a0
\n\tStrategic options analysis,\u00a0
\n\tContingency planning reviews,\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tShort-term cash flow reviews and forecasting,\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tCost saving, optimisation and working capital improvement plans;\u00a0
\n\tWork alongside other PwC teams, including specialist lines of service and sector experts; and\u00a0
\n\tAdvising in relation to Business Rescue proceedings (Chapter 6 of the Companies Act, 2008).\u00a0<\/p>\n
