Stabilise data centre environment<\/p>\n
\tDetect and respond to technical problems
\n\tIdentify opportunities for continuous improvements and respond to feedback from service statistics \/ information (CSIP)
\n\tMaintain the business unit computer services and equipment ensuring the configuration of the environment is in line with best practice
\n\tMake recommendations on computer products or equipment to improve company productivity.
\n\tStore a spare parts inventory of systems, subsystems and component parts used in repair work.<\/p>\n
User engagement\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tRespond to incidents logged by end-users that cannot be resolved telephonically
\n\tProvide desktop support by using diagnostics to facilitate prompt resolution where possible
\n\tProvide feedback to the service desk on resolution of incidents
\n\tCoach end-users in the use of certain software<\/p>\n

\tMake preparations for the installation of software
\n\tInstall or update required hardware and software
\n\tUpdate SOPS and communicate with regard to resources
\n\tUpdate repository of standards<\/p>\n
Vendor engagement<\/p>\n
\tLiaise with vendors with regards parts, repairs, services
\n\tSchedule logistics if required
\n\tEscalate issues identified if relevant
\n\tAttend Vendor management meetings if required

Requirements<\/p>\n
Education<\/p>\n
\t2-Year Diploma in IT or equivalent NQF Level 6 in IT
\n\tMCSE, ITIL Foundation Certification is an advantage\u00a0<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 2 year relevant IT industry experience
\n\tMeets all requirements for a Gaming licence\u00a0
\n\tAble to work shifts and weekends\u00a0
\n\tMay be required to work overtime in line with operational requirements\u00a0<\/p>\n
