\tProvide desktop support, maintain, and develop Jacaranda FM\u2019s IT systems and infrastructure.
\n\tInstall, maintain, and upgrade workstations to ensure optimal performance.
\n\tPerform regular data backups and implement recovery procedures to safeguard information.\u00a0
\n\tManage Microsoft 365, Azure, and Mimecast user accounts, including mailbox configurations.
\n\tConfigure and maintain NAS storage systems to support data storage needs.
\n\tMaintain an accurate inventory of IT assets and manage technical consumables.
\n\tMonitor and manage internet and data security to protect organisational resources.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Broadcasting\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tProvide first-line technical support for broadcast studios and reduce transmission downtime.
\n\tMaintain and support broadcasting systems (RCS, NewsBoss).
\n\tAssist with live studio operations, recordings, and podcast sessions.
\n\tUpdate Standard Operating Procedures documentation and support business continuity testing.
\n\tOffer Standby support for HQ and satellite studios.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Facility Management\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSupport general building, security, and maintenance functions.
\n\tAssist in managing service provider relationships ( e.g., Sentech, Telkom, Neotel, Zenprop).
\n\tMaintain supplier database and support BEE compliance.
\n\tAssist with technical maintenance, studio upkeep, and infrastructure upgrades.
\n\tHelp manage PBX systems, access control, and security cameras.
\n\tContribute to the development of a fault management system.<\/p>\n

\tParticipates as a member of the technical team.
\n\tContributes positively to the technical team and station.
\n\tExecute any tasks that may reasonably be expected.

Requirements<\/p>\n
\tPost Matric qualification, with relevant technical course
\n\tHeavy duty driving license<\/p>\n
\u00a0SKILLS & EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tM365, Azure user admin, Networking, Apple Mac OS and MS Windows experience.
\n\tFamiliarity with Mimecast and cloud backup services.
\n\tService Oriented knowledge.
\n\tKnowledge of RCS, NewsBoss will be a bonus.
\n\tExperience in Transmission, broadcasting and linking technologies.<\/p>\n
