\tReview and optimize fixed asset processes to ensure effective and efficient operations.
\n\tMonitor compliance and performance of asset acquisition, capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and impairments.
\n\tConduct periodic asset verification exercises, ensuring proper tagging and reconciliation with financial records.
\n\tProvide reporting and analytical and decision making support relative to utilisation of fixed assets.
\n\tLiaise with auditors on fixed asset-related queries and provide necessary documentation.<\/p>\n
Manage the financial transactional processes<\/p>\n
\tProcess and oversee financial transactions, ensuring correct ledger classification and reconciliation.
\n\tAssist in managing monthly financial close processes, ensuring timely review and posting of transactions.
\n\tAddress discrepancies in financial records, collaborating with relevant departments to resolve issues.
\n\tDrive Corporate Governance and Internal Control
\n\tImplement transaction-level controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
\n\tMaintain supporting records for audit and regulatory purposes, ensuring transaction integrity.<\/p>\n
Financial Reporting & Tax Compliance Support<\/p>\n
\tSupport monthly financial reporting function.
\n\tSupport tax-related transactional processes, including VAT, corporate tax submissions, and reconciliations.
\n\tAssist with tax audits and provide transaction-level insights for compliance reporting.
\n\tOptimise financial information to provide decision support to the business
\n\tWork closely with the Group Finance and Shared Services Manager to optimize financial workflows.
\n\tSHEQ Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Skills, Experience & Education<\/p>\n
\tChartered Accountant (CA)\u00a0with a minimum of\u00a03\u00a0years financial accounting experience
\n\tExperience in a finance operations, general accounting or shared services accounting role
\n\tExposure to Fixed Asset Management preferred
\n\tERP systems knowledge
\n\tMS Office Proficient
\n\tValid Drivers License<\/p>\n
