Introduction:<\/p>\n
\tWe are recruiting for an international outdoor clothing brand, seeking a dynamic Sales Representative to join their team in Northriding, Randburg. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth by expanding the client base within South Africa\u2019s clothing wholesale and retail sectors. The successful candidate will promote products, attend exhibitions, nurture client relationships, and contribute to the brand\u2019s success by staying ahead of industry trends.<\/p>\n
Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tTo drive revenue growth by proactively expanding the client base, promoting products, and fostering long-term client relationships within the wholesale and retail clothing sectors in South Africa, while contributing to product selection and brand exposure through events and exhibitions.<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
Minimum education (essential):<\/p>\n
\tNational Senior Certificate<\/p>\n
Minimum applicable experience (years):<\/p>\n
\t3-5 years<\/p>\n
Required nature of experience:<\/p>\n
\tSales experience with a focus on client acquisition and growth
\n\tManaging client and supplier relationships
\n\tWorking in the wholesale clothing industry (will be advantageous)<\/p>\n
Skills and Knowledge (essential):<\/p>\n
\tStrong verbal and written communication skills
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office
\n\tKnowledge of sales strategies and client relationship management<\/p>\n

\tProficient in Afrikaans
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license and own reliable transport
\n\tWillingness to Travel

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS<\/p>\n
Client Acquisition and Market Expansion:<\/p>\n
\tIdentify and develop strategies for entering new retail and wholesale channels.
\n\tSet and achieve clear goals for capturing market share in various retailers and wholesalers.
\n\tQualify potential leads to create repeat sales opportunities.
\n\tProvide regular updates on the sales pipeline to the team.<\/p>\n
Client Relationship Management<\/p>\n
\tEstablish open communication with clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
\n\tProvide exceptional customer service to build trust and long-lasting relationships.
\n\tImplement strategies to retain existing clients and encourage repeat business.
\n\tCollect client feedback to drive long-term sales and product growth.<\/p>\n
Product Promotion and Brand Exposure<\/p>\n
\tArrange and attend exhibitions, events, and expos to promote the brand.
\n\tTravel throughout South Africa for events, including occasional weekends.
\n\tMaintain a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and unique selling points.
\n\tContribute to product selection to ensure market-relevant offerings.<\/p>\n
Client Training and Support<\/p>\n
\tProvide training and support to clients\u2019 staff to enhance product sales.
\n\tAct as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure client needs are met.
\n\tEnsure clients are equipped with the knowledge to effectively sell products.
\n\tMonitor client satisfaction and address any challenges promptly.<\/p>\n
Reporting and Industry Awareness<\/p>\n
\tProvide regular reports on sales performance and market trends.
\n\tStay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
\n\tCollaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with company goals.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities.<\/p>\n
