RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:<\/p>\n
\tIdentifying control breakdowns and produce high-quality, actionable investigation reports.
\n\tInvestigating incidents of fraud, theft, corruption, and money laundering using industry best practices.
\n\tCollaborating closely with business units and management to communicate investigation outcomes and support fraud risk mitigation.
\n\tLeading continuous professional development within the fraud risk management function.
\n\tManaging, mentoring, and training staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
\n\tPlanning and implementing comprehensive fraud awareness campaigns across the organization.
\n\tMaintaining and updating the risk register and claims statistics.
\n\tPreparing and submitting detailed monthly reports to Executive Committee (Exco).
\n\tConducting preliminary fact-finding investigations and verifying facts.
\n\tIdentifying the nature of crimes and possible suspects.
\n\tCompiling preliminary reports with recommendations on next steps.
\n\tExecuting detailed investigations, collecting evidence, obtaining witness statements, and liaising with law enforcement (SAPS) if necessary.
\n\tCollaborating with relevant departments (Legal, Compliance, Employee Relations) to integrate investigation findings.
\n\tCompiling comprehensive final reports highlighting risks and recommended controls.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tDegree or diploma in Forensic Investigation, Auditing, Accounting, or related field.
\n\tCertified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Certified Forensic Practitioner (CFP) qualification is advantageous.
\n\t3\u20135 years\u2019 experience in accounting, auditing, criminology, or investigations.
\n\tDeep understanding of the financial services sector and AML principles.
\n\tStrong conflict management and problem-solving skills.
\n\tExcellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills.
\n\tAbility to work independently and collaboratively at all organizational levels.
\n\tWillingness to travel as required.<\/p>\n
