IGrow Wealth Investments, South Africa\u2019s #1 Property Investment Company, is looking for an SAIPA or AGA(SA) Accountant to join their team in Cape Town.<\/p>\n
To qualify for this position, you need:<\/p>\n
\tProfessional Accountant (SA) (registered with SAIPA) or AGA(SA) (registered with SAICA) with 1+ years post articles in a management\/supervisory position
\n\tKnowledge of relevant computer programs such as Caseware (or any equivalent auditing program), Xero, Payroll packages and Microsoft Excel
\n\tExperience managing a team and client engagements
\n\tBilingual in English (Fluent)\/ Afrikaans (Understand)
\n\tAttention to detail
\n\tExcellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
\n\tStrong analytical and numerical skills<\/p>\n
Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:<\/p>\n
\tCompilation of annual financial statements according to IFRS for SME\u2019s
\n\tProcessing accounting transactions up to trial balance
\n\tSupervising and providing guidance to a team of SAIPA Trainees
\n\tReview of work performed by Trainees, including accounting processing, Annual Financial Statements, Income Tax Returns, Provisional tax calculations, VAT and EMP recons and submissions
\n\tRaising adequate review queries on work performed by Trainees to promote a learning environment
\n\tManage client portfolios and maintain sound client relationships
\n\tPersonal income tax calculations and submissions
\n\tLeading team meetings and team training sessions on occasion
\n\tProviding IGrow investors with guidance, by implementing trusts as well as corporate and commercial structures, to optimise tax benefits, wealth creation and risk mitigation
\n\tSupervising timely submission of all deliverables
\n\tSARS appointments and queries
\n\tAny other output that may be reasonably required from this role
\n\tAbility to perform without constant supervision
\n\tSelf-motivated
\n\tAbility to perform under pressure
\n\tGood negotiation skills
\n\tPlanning, coordinating and prioritizing
\n\tValid driver\u2019s license and own vehicle<\/p>\n
