{"id":10944,"date":"2025-05-28T15:36:06","date_gmt":"2025-05-28T15:36:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/vetting-investigator-talent-acquisition-specialist\/"},"modified":"2025-08-27T00:24:33","modified_gmt":"2025-08-27T00:24:33","slug":"vetting-investigator-talent-acquisition-specialist","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=10944","title":{"rendered":"Vetting Investigator \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Talent Acquisition Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Conduct vetting investigations on all applicants, employees and external vendors to ensure that they are security cleared to company requirements<\/p>\n<p>\tReceive\u00a0pre-employment,\u00a0promotion\u00a0and\u00a0contractor\u00a0vetting\u00a0requests and record it on the prescribed spreadsheets.<br \/>\n\tConduct various\u00a0background\u00a0checks\u00a0on\u00a0all\u00a0applicants,\u00a0including (but not limited to)\u00a0criminal\u00a0record\u00a0verification, adverse financial records, SAFPS and REDS enquiries per agreed on timeframes.<br \/>\n\tEvaluate information received and make recommendations to the Vetting Manager.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate and capturing the\u00a0fingerprints\u00a0of\u00a0vetting\u00a0applicants.<br \/>\n\tEvaluate fingerprint results and make recommendations to the Vetting Manager.<br \/>\n\tSchedule interviews with candidates, references and relevant work references.<br \/>\n\tInterview\u00a0identified\u00a0personnel\u00a0and\/or\u00a0pre-employment\u00a0candidates\u00a0and\u00a0evaluate\u00a0information\u00a0obtained.<br \/>\n\tConduct\u00a0interviews\u00a0with\u00a0all\u00a0relevant\u00a0role\u00a0players\u00a0(references)\u00a0within\u00a0the\u00a0agreed\u00a0timeframe.<br \/>\n\tDetect potential risks through thorough evaluation and analysis of information gathered.<br \/>\n\tUpdate Vetting spreadsheets as per agreed timeframes.<br \/>\n\tWrite the Vetting report on all relevant risks, possible threats and concerns identified during the investigation.<br \/>\n\tPresent recommendations upon all the information gathered, that indicates a possible threat or risk to the company.<br \/>\n\tSchedule and conduct follow-up interviews as per investigative requirements<\/p>\n<p>Truth Verification Tests (TVT) (Polygraph and Voice Stress tests)<\/p>\n<p>\tTimeously\u00a0schedule\u00a0TVT\u2019s with\u00a0the candidate.<br \/>\n\tConduct\u00a0TVT\u2019s according\u00a0to\u00a0policy\u00a0and\u00a0procedure and legislation.<br \/>\n\tCompile TVT report as per the prescribed processes and notify Vetting Manager and HR Officers of the outcome of the tests.<br \/>\n\tSchedule and execute follow-up tests where the investigation deems it necessary.<\/p>\n<p>Provide input into the development and implementation of policies, guidelines, norms, and standards in vetting investigations, including:<\/p>\n<p>\tAssist the Vetting Manager in the identification of possible risks or threats and implementing\u00a0a preventive investigation program.<br \/>\n\tSupport and communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders to create and maintain long-term relationships.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tCollect and submit vetting related documents to and from external and internal stakeholders and service providers.
