Clear outgoing and incoming bank clearing accounts on a weekly basis.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPost prepayment expenses and prepare a monthly prepayments schedule and reconciliations.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure daily MICROS in store cash-up and end of day are done timeously and accurately.\u00a0
\n\tWeekly and monthly reconciling of MICROS actual banking to HSBC.\u00a0
\n\tMonthly preparation of Retail Reconciliations\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Card to Bank, EFT, Netflorist, Payfast\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tNew Store Opening and Closing finance support\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tEnsure SAP NNTS (Net Net Trade Sales) matches MICROS NNTS (Net Net Trade Sales) at all times.\u00a0
\n\tRetail Turnover Certificates \u2013 Preparation and Send out.\u00a0
\n\tTake full ownership of the following accounting functions:\u00a0
\n\tFixed assets.\u00a0
\n\tDepreciation\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tUpdate Monthly CAPEX report\u00a0
\n\tUpdate monthly fixed asset register\u00a0
\n\tPrepayments booking, expensing and reconciliations\u00a0
\n\tRecurring Journals\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tDisplay cost of goods sold (Display COGS)\u00a0
\n\tPrepare monthly VAT reconciliation and Vat audit documents.\u00a0
\n\tPrepare ad-hoc manual and retail invoices and purchase orders.\u00a0
\n\tAssist Financial Accounting Manager in compiling LICS (Lindt Internal Control System) Retail controls and self-assessments.\u00a0
\n\tAssist the Finance Team in forecasting, budgeting and month-end reporting process and any other ad-hoc requests in line with business requirements.\u00a0
\n\tAssist PWC at interim and year-end audit in accounts payable and operational expenditure.\u00a0
\n\tAny other ad-hoc requests by the Head of Corporate Finance\u00a0<\/p>\n
Skills and Competencies required\u00a0<\/p>\n
\t3 years\u2019 experience in Financial Accounting environment required\u00a0
\n\tBS diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualification\u00a0
\n\tHighly numerate with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail\u00a0
\n\tPrevious experience gained within International FMCG environment advantageous\u00a0
\n\tStrong MS (Outlook, Excel, Word) skills\u00a0
\n\tSAP experience considered to be a distinctive advantage<\/p>\n
