\tYou will be responsible for delivering strategic and operational HR support to designated business units within the homechoice. The role partners closely with business leaders to drive workforce performance, support organizational change, and implement talent strategies that align with both company\u2019s objectives and functional needs.
\n\tYou will serve as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on workforce planning, talent acquisition, employee relations, development, engagement, and performance management.<\/p>\n

\tImplement the HR tactical plans to support business objectives.
\n\tAlign HR initiatives with business needs through proactive stakeholder engagement and collaboration.<\/p>\n
Talent Management<\/p>\n
\tBuild and maintain a strong internal talent pipeline aligned to the Talent Plan.
\n\tMonitor and respond to labour market trends, customising staffing solutions as needed.
\n\tManage end-to-end recruitment in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team, ensuring talent needs are met.
\n\tOversee integration of the organisation\u2019s talent framework across business unit\/s.
\n\tConduct internal trend analysis and provide actionable insights on workforce composition, risk, and opportunity.<\/p>\n
Performance Management<\/p>\n
\tEnable a culture of performance through the implementation of effective performance management systems.
\n\tCoach and support line managers in identifying and addressing underperformance, along with advising on improvement actions.
\n\tEnsure compliance with the performance review process and ongoing performance conversations aligned to talent and succession plans.<\/p>\n
Talent Development<\/p>\n
\tPartner with the L&D team to facilitate business unit-specific training needs and learning interventions.
\n\tFacilitate the integration of employees on internships and learnerships into the workplace.
\n\tMonitor and report on development initiatives, measuring impact and closing gaps.<\/p>\n
Employee Relations<\/p>\n
\tServe as a trusted advisor on disciplinary and grievance processes, representing the business during hearings and CCMA cases when required.
\n\tCoach and upskill line managers on managing performance, conflict, and disciplinary matters in line with legal requirements and company policies.
\n\tPromote consistent and fair application of employee relations practices.<\/p>\n
Employee Experience & Culture<\/p>\n
\tSupport the implementation of company and departmental culture \/ engagement initiatives.
\n\tAddress organisational effectiveness challenges by diagnosing issues and implementing corrective interventions.
\n\tOversee the employee lifecycle, including onboarding and offboarding, analysing trends and driving improvements to enhance employee experience.<\/p>\n
Reporting & People Analytics<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and present relevant HR dashboards and reports with insights for departmental leadership.
\n\tUse data to inform workforce decisions, influence business strategy, and monitor HR effectiveness.<\/p>\n
Remuneration Management<\/p>\n
\tPartner with the business to monitor remuneration spend, ensuring alignment to market benchmarks and internal budgets.
\n\tSupport the design and implementation of cost containment strategies and optimal organisational structures.<\/p>\n
Employee Wellness<\/p>\n
\tChampion employee wellness through company and department-specific initiatives.
\n\tProvide guidance and support to employees and leaders on available wellness resources and interventions.<\/p>\n

What you\u2019ll need to do this role<\/p>\n
\tA relevant HR-related qualification (degree or diploma).
\n\t3 + years\u2019 experience in a HRBP or HR generalist role, within a contact centre environment.
\n\tSolid labour relations experience, including handling of disciplinary cases and CCMA representation.
\n\tDemonstrated experience across the full talent management lifecycle, including organisational development.
\n\tProven ability to engage and influence senior management and key stakeholders.
\n\tStrong MS Excel proficiency for reporting and analytics.<\/p>\n
