Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for ensuring payment on the due date, the reconciliation balances outstanding items (unpaid customer invoices).
\n\tResponsible for the timely and accurate accounting of payments arrived on the accounts of the division.\u00a0
\n\tResponsible for establishing new customer credit limits and change limits up to existing limit specified in the Vertiv CP&P\u2019s, ES divisional guidelines, and SOX rules.
\n\tEnsure payments from customers are made on time.\u00a0
\n\tKeeping records of communication with customers and internal communication in Get Paid.\u00a0
\n\tReconciliation of balances of outstanding items.\u00a0
\n\tPreparing monthly and annual statements of accounts receivable for Division in Johannesburg.\u00a0
\n\tCommunication with customers to minimize the overdue items and escalating problems to Credit Director or other division staff as appropriate.\u00a0
\n\tPreparing reports and analysis.\u00a0
\n\tOther activities related to the responsibilities set.\u00a0
\n\tAction under delegated authority from the Credit Director and his representation in the absence.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tUniversity Degree in Economics or similar field
\n\t3-5 Years of experience in Financial Accounting
\n\tAdditional computer skills would be highly advantageous: Oracle & Get Paid<\/p>\n
