\tTo manage the TRADE and NON-TRADE system integrity and financial stock including movement reporting.<\/p>\n
Job description<\/p>\n
\tAccountable for driving non trade stock query resolution with all relevant stakeholders (Non Trade Payables, Procurement, RED, Gift Card, Head Office Facilities (Stationery, Dining Room, Hairdresser, ITS, Special Occasions).
\n\tAccountable for understanding the technical processes for non-trade stock from end to end.
\n\tAccountable for communication to BUFM\u2019s on all non-trade stock and gross profit inventory adjustment issues.
\n\tResponsible for the reconciliation of Non-Trade stock balance sheet accounts (RED, Gift Card, Head Office Facilities (Stationery, Dining Room, Hairdresser, ITS and Special Occasions and stock accrual accounts).
\n\tAccountable operationally and financially for Non-Trade stocktakes of warehouses including capturing, approval and reporting thereof.
\n\tTo reconcile the stock ledger to the records held at the outsourced stock location.
\n\tTo ensure that all charges to the manufacturer are accurate and are adjusted against stock.
\n\tTo ensure accurate costing of RED imported Non trade stock including \u2018all on cost\u2019 additional charges.ie.freight and duty.
\n\tAccountable operationally and financially for non-trade stocktakes of warehouses including reporting thereof.
\n\tResponsible for the reconciliation of certain non-trade stock balance sheet accounts.
\n\tResponsible for processing miscellaneous transactions (receipt and issuing of stock) as per BU requests
\n\tTo keep record of all gift cards(WW and CRG) issued out of stock to stores, head office and external corporates
\n\tProcess monthly billing for stores relating to gift card stock issued and relating service charges.ie.courier and management fees.
\n\tTo reconcile the gift card stock ledger to the records held at the outsourced stock location(Crossgate)and ensure that all charges to the manufacturer are accurate and are adjusted against stock
\n\tAccountable for first receipt of Red Imported Non Trade stock and liaise closely with Finance Imports Team to ensure payment thereof
\n\tAccurate calculation of costing profit\/ loss and filing of the RED shipment file with supporting documentation
\n\tMeet with relevant stakeholders to ensure accurate closure of the shipments.
\n\tTo ensure the WIP (Work in Progress) Special Occasions account is fully reconciled and process adjustments to ensure billing takes place to recover funds from suppliers.
\n\tEnsuring that the non-trade stock is accurately aged for possible provisions.
\n\tProviding input into finance policies, principles and procedures
\n\tTraining relevant stakeholders to understand and communicate finance\u2019s business requirement across multiple departments\/divisions for non-trade.
\n\tWorking with the Business Systems Analyst to communicate the business requirement and interaction to ensure that any development meets the business need.
\n\tAssisting with the analysis of process changes, risk impacts and communication required.
\n\tResponsible for status reporting, feedback on issues and risks.
\n\tResponsible for reconciling Division 5 stock clearing and stock control accounts.
\n\tResponsible for compiling Division 5 stock rollforwards
\n\tLiaising with Auditors<\/p>\n
Minimum requirements<\/p>\n
TECHNICAL AND FUNCTIONAL<\/p>\n
\tUnderstand and apply financial accounting principles and concepts including knowledge of IFRS.
\n\tAble to use & solve problems in a large, complex, integrated Finance IT system and to process large volumes of financial transactions.
\n\tAble to apply accounting knowledge in a large IT driven accounting environment and identify financial exposure and risk.
\n\tStrong Excel skills and ability to use business reporting tools e.g. Oracle, Qlikview, \u00a0Cognos etc.
\n\tStrong numeric ability.
\n\t1 year\u2019s reconciliation experience required.<\/p>\n
\u00a0MINIMUM QUALIFICATION<\/p>\n
\tB. Comm. (Accounting)\/ BTech 3-year.
\n\t2-3 year experience in accounting or financial environment.<\/p>\n
