\nKey Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tFacilitate training sessions in line with the curriculum for Occupational Certificate: Software Developer (SAQA ID: 118707).
\n\tDeliver engaging and interactive sessions that enhance learning and comprehension.
\n\tAssess and monitor learner progress, providing feedback and support where needed.
\n\tEnsure all training materials are effectively utilized and tailored to meet learner needs.
\n\tMaintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and learner progress.
\n\tSupport learners in achieving their theoretical and practical milestones.
\n\tCollaborate with the administrative team to ensure smooth delivery of the learnership program.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tA relevant qualification in Systems Development, Software Development, or related fields (NQF Level 6 or higher preferred).
\n\tAccredited as a facilitator, with a valid ETDP SETA facilitator certification.
\n\tAt least 2 years of experience facilitating learnerships or similar training programs.
\n\tPractical experience in software development or IT-related roles.
\n\tStrong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
\n\tProficient in facilitating diverse learners in a professional and supportive manner.
\n\tBased in or willing to travel to Upington, Northern Cape for the duration of the program<\/p>\n
Preferred Competencies<\/p>\n
\tFamiliarity with the Occupational Certificate: Software Developer curriculum and requirements.
\n\tKnowledge of South African skills development frameworks, including SETA and QCTO standards.
\n\tExperience in mentoring and supporting learners in both theoretical and practical training environments<\/p>\n
