Key Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe Programme Manager can be thought of as a \u201csuper\u201d project manager. His or her role is mainly operational since this person is responsible for planning and governance and for overseeing the successful delivery of the programme\u2019s output\/product.\u00a0
\n\tAlthough knowledge of the business is important, there is more stress on his or her project and programme management skills. The programme manager must have practical experience of having been a project manager for large and complex initiatives.<\/p>\n
Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDaily programme management throughout the program life cycle;
\n\tDefining the programme governance (controls);
\n\tPlanning the overall programme and monitoring the progress;
\n\tManaging the project\/programme\u2019s budget;
\n\tManaging risks and issues and taking corrective measurements;
\n\tCoordinating the projects and their interdependencies;
\n\tManaging and utilising resources across projects;
\n\tManaging stakeholders\u2019 communication;
\n\tAligning the deliverables (outputs) to the programme\u2019s \u201coutcome\u201d;
\n\tWorking closely with other Project Managers in respective projects within the programme.<\/p>\n
Skills and Knowledge:<\/p>\n
\tAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel<\/p>\n

\tMatric (Essential)
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree
\n\tAgile Project Management certificate (Advantageous)<\/p>\n
Minimum Experience: \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\t5-7 years in Project Management (Good track record of handling large, strategic and complex projects)
\n\tExpert in planning, communication (written and verbal), presentation, negotiation, facilitation
\n\tRelationship management experience (Advantageous)<\/p>\n
