\tTWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Diesel Mechanic within the Trade Division at Standerton, Mpumalanga.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Responsibilities and Duties<\/p>\n
\tReassemble agricultural equipment following repair; test operation; and make adjustments as necessary
\n\tExamine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, and confer with customers to locate and diagnose malfunctions
\n\tTest and replace electrical components and wiring, using test meters, soldering equipment, and hand tools
\n\tRepair or replace defective parts, using hand tools, machines, welding equipment, grinders, or saws
\n\tInspect or test parts to determine nature or cause of defects or malfunctions
\n\tRecommend product or component design improvements based on data and observations
\n\tMaintain test equipment in operational condition by performing routine maintenance or making minor repairs or adjustments as needed
\n\tComplete all documentation including worksheets, certificates, receipts and applying signatures as appropriate on a daily basis
\n\tInspect equipment for safety prior to use, and perform necessary basic maintenance tasks<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Skills<\/p>\n
\tMatric \/ Grade 12
\n\tComputer literate
\n\tQualified Diesel Mechanic
\n\tExperience on agricultural equipment
\n\tExperience on New Holland tractors (advantageous)<\/p>\n
