SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO<\/p>\n
\tExecute electrical and mechanical planned maintenance within specified time at a high quality and give feedback to the respective foreman to improve plant availability and reliability.
\n\tPromptly attend to any electrical, mechanical and\/or related process control system breakdowns and callouts when required.
\n\tEnsuring that all unsafe conditions are repaired timeously or to report to prevent any incidents or accidents.
\n\tIncrease equipment performance and minimize production downtime from unplanned equipment stoppages.\u00a0
\n\tAdhere to and comply with all relevant SHEQ polices, rules and standards.
\n\tParticipate in Risk Assessments based on external and internal influences.
\n\tMaintain a high quality of housekeeping.
\n\tEnsure that to adhere to with the company\u2019s code of conduct.
\n\tAttend statutory training as may be required.
\n\tAssists in cost reduction initiatives by reducing waste and improving efficiencies.
\n\tThe incumbent will be required to work rotational shifts with other Artisans Millwright to cover the Smelter business unit.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tA completed Matric qualification.
\n\tN3 or equivalent in Electro-Mechanical is required, preference will be given to candidates with qualifications higher than N3.\u00a0
\n\tTrade Test certificate as a Millwright.
\n\tMinimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
\n\tAt least 3 years’ experience in Medium Voltage switching.<\/p>\n
