Procurement Process Support\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAssist in preparing and administering Request for Quotations\/Proposals (RFQ\/P) and tender processes.\u00a0
\n\tSource quotations and support end-to-end procurement activities in line with SCM thresholds and regulatory requirements.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure compliance with PFMA, Treasury Regulations, and internal SCM policies.\u00a0
\n\tMaintain and manage SCM documentation, including scanning, filing, and uploading of tender and procurement records.\u00a0
\n\tEnsure accurate data entry on relevant systems and manage standard bidding documents and related correspondence.\u00a0
\n\tArrange and coordinate SCM-related meetings and provide secretarial support to Bid Committees, including the preparation of minutes and terms of reference.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Supplier and Vendor Management\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tFacilitate supplier registration, verification of compliance documentation, and database maintenance.\u00a0
\n\tCoordinate invoice processing and supplier payments, including commitment reporting aligned with regulatory requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Goods and Services Verification\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tReceive and inspect delivered goods and services, ensuring they meet specified requirements.\u00a0
\n\tFollow up with suppliers on delivery timelines and manage commitment schedules.\u00a0
\n\tHandle receipt and dispatch of customer instruments and calibrated equipment, ensuring timely job card creation and logistics execution.\u00a0
\n\tLiaise with laboratories to support instrument calibration processes and revenue cycle efficiency.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Customer and Internal Support\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tRespond to internal and external client enquiries.\u00a0
\n\tSupport customers in navigating NMISA systems, including registration, credit applications, and quote acceptance.\u00a0
\n\tMaintain and update the SCM and logistics dashboard, ensuring task allocation and completion.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Educational Qualification and Experience:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tA relevant National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.\u00a0
\n\tA minimum of 1-3 years\u2019 working experience in Supply Chain Management or related field\u00a0
\n\tKnowledge in applicable legislation i.e. Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), PPPFA, Supply chain management policies, procedures, processes, Practices notes and Treasury regulation.\u00a0
\n\tExperience in procurement processes, vendor liaison, and logistics coordination.\u00a0
\n\tStrong administrative and communication skills.\u00a0
\n\tProficiency in MS Office.\u00a0<\/p>\n
