Duties and responsibilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tReceiving instructions from developers, estate agents and private clients to attend to transfers, opening of sectional title schemes, township establishment and preparation of various notarial deeds including servitudes.
\n\tPreparing various other conveyancing related documents accurately and independently.
\n\tLiaising with clients, city councils, SARS, managing agents, estate agents, banks and linked attorney firms.
\n\tPreparing documents for lodgement and ensuring all conditions are met and processes followed in order for matters to be registered successfully at the relevant deeds registry.
\n\tAttending to all financial aspects of transactions, including requesting guarantees, preparing pro-forma and final accounts, collecting costs\/disbursements from clients, passing fees upon registration of transactions and attending to general accounting queries.
\n\tKeeping and maintaining of a proper diary system of all current matters.
\n\tWeekly reporting to all parties on the current status of pending matters.<\/p>\n
Qualification\/s<\/p>\n
\tMatric\/National Diploma or equivalent qualification.
\n\tSecretarial Diploma with excellent typing skills.
\n\tExperience in conveyancing environment, specifically transfers.\u00a0 Experience in commercial transactions and bonds would be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
