Cross-functional Team Leadership<\/p>\n
\tWork with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and timely product development.
\n\tCollaborate with design, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver high-quality products.
\n\tEnsure compliance with legal and financial regulations across all product initiatives.<\/p>\n
Product Lifecycle Management<\/p>\n
\tManage the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch and post-launch optimisation.
\n\tMake data-driven decisions to enhance product features and improve performance.
\n\tLead product launches, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market readiness.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Management<\/p>\n
\tEngage with senior leadership to communicate product vision, strategy, and performance.
\n\tManage stakeholder expectations and foster strong relationships across the organisation.
\n\tPresent product updates and strategic initiatives to executive teams and key stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Mentorship & Development<\/p>\n
\tMentor and guide junior and associate PMs, providing feedback and support.
\n\tLead training sessions to share knowledge and best practices with the broader team.<\/p>\n
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the product management team.<\/p>\n

Requirements
\nMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tRequired: Bachelor\u2019s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field, or certification in Product Management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, AIPMM) or\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe) or Business Analysis (e.g., IIBA) or Project Management certifications (e.g. PMI or Prince2). \u00a0
\n\tPreferred: Fintech-specific certifications, such as Certified FinTech Professional (CFP) .\u00a0
\n\tRequired: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a strong background in leading product development initiatives and managing cross-functional teams in Fintech<\/p>\n
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE \/ TECHNICAL SKILLS:<\/p>\n
\tExtensive experience in leading strategic product initiatives and managing complex product lifecycles in Fintech.
\n\tDeep understanding of South African market dynamics, customer behaviour, and competitive analysis within the financial services industry.
\n\tAdvanced experience and expertise in integrated fintech ecosystems, including in-depth knowledge of APIs and Swagger, with a strong track record of successfully \u00a0 managing complex projects.
\n\tProven ability to drive product innovation, optimise product performance, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
\n\tStrong track record of making data-driven decisions and resolving technical, functional, and business issues.
\n\tExperience in mentoring junior PMs and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.<\/p>\n
Advantageous Knowledge & Experience<\/p>\n
\tExperience in spearheading innovation initiatives and driving digital transformation within a Fintech environment.
\n\tAdvanced knowledge of global Fintech trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory landscapes including POPIA, FSCA, FICA, RICA etc.
\n\tProven success in managing complex stakeholder relationships and influencing executive-level decision-making.
\n\tFamiliarity with advanced financial technologies and their application in product development.
\n\tExperience in leading cross-functional teams through major product pivots, mergers, or acquisitions<\/p>\n
