Education and Experience required:<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12)\u00a0or equivalent qualification.
\n\tValid\u00a0driver\u2019s license\u00a0with a clean driving record
\n\tPrevious experience as a\u00a0Driver\u00a0in a similar environment is preferred.
\n\tExcellent\u00a0time management\u00a0and ability to manage delivery schedules efficiently. Ability to handle and drive various types of vehicles, including cars and light commercial vehicles.
\n\tStrong\u00a0communication skills\u00a0and a customer-focused attitude.
\n\tHigh level of\u00a0professionalism\u00a0and reliability.
\n\tAbility to handle basic vehicle maintenance checks (e.g., oil level, tire pressure, fluid levels).
\n\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
\n\tPhysically fit\u00a0and able to assist with equipment movement and other physical tasks when required.<\/p>\n
Key areas of responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tPlanning and carrying out cost-effective, timely deliveries.
\n\tCompleting of log sheets, reading delivery documents and maps and communicating effectively with internal staff and customers.
\n\tMaintaining good housekeeping practices in respect of the vehicles driven.
\n\tPack and unpack items\/goods to be stocked in storeroom.
\n\tStore items in an orderly and accessible manner.
\n\tExamine and inspect stock item for wear or defects, reporting damage to supervisor.
\n\tReceive and count stock items, reporting discrepancies to supervisor
\n\tMark stock items as and when needed.
\n\tEnsure correct documentation is available when receiving or dispatching stock. Report disparities immediately to supervisor.<\/p>\n
