As a Treasury Controller you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n
Money Market<\/p>\n
\tPrepare the actual daily cash position and money market reports.
\n\tCapture and settle money market deals in SAP.
\n\tProcess local payments for joint ventures and interest on banking systems.
\n\tMaintain and update intercompany interest rate schedules.
\n\tMaintain and update daily deposit\/loan schedules.<\/p>\n
Foreign Payments<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and execute payment runs for foreign transactions.
\n\tCapture inward payments and global transfers.
\n\tRecord BOP (Balance of Payments) invoices in SAP.
\n\tInitiate deals with Group Treasury and local banks.
\n\tPrepare dealing sheets for transactions completed with Group Treasury.
\n\tCapture and settle foreign exchange (FX) deals in SAP.
\n\tFollow up and resolve bank-related queries.
\n\tUpdate the Reserve Bank File accordingly.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Export Proceeds<\/p>\n
\tPrepare weekly sales exposure reports.
\n\tAllocate and account for export proceeds.
\n\tPrepare journals for export proceeds and import settlements.
\n\tGenerate UCR (Unique Consignment Reference) numbers for banking purposes.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Month-End<\/p>\n
\tAssist with the preparation and review of treasury month-end reports.
\n\tConfirm outstanding deals with banks and mills.
\n\tConfirm interest on overnight borrowings and deposits with banks.
\n\tPrepare journals to reallocate bank charges.
\n\tProcess and review reports related to Ngodwana Energy.<\/p>\n
Ad hoc duties<\/p>\n
\tAssist Shared Services with reconciliations and treasury-related queries.
\n\tPerform filing and archiving of treasury documents.
\n\tComplete and distribute daily Economic Indicators.
\n\tRespond to treasury-related queries from banks and mills.
\n\tSupport the Treasurer and Treasury Manager as and when needed.<\/p>\n
What are we looking for?<\/p>\n
\tRelevant tertiary advanced diploma\/degree in Finance and Accounting or Treasury.
\n\tA minimum of 2 \u2013 3 years of experience in a finance role.
\n\tGeneral knowledge of the SAP system.
\n\tPrior experience in banking or a similar role with exposure to money market, foreign exchange, and exchange control rules would be advantageous.<\/p>\n
