{"id":11292,"date":"2025-06-02T16:02:09","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T16:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/senior-account-manager\/"},"modified":"2025-09-03T00:24:14","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T00:24:14","slug":"senior-account-manager","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=11292","title":{"rendered":"Senior Account Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB<\/p>\n<p>Sales<\/p>\n<p>\tClosing deals and achieving sales targets<br \/>\n\tDeveloping a target plan, 30\/60\/90 and following through on execution<br \/>\n\tManage the sales cycle of technical, consultative solution sales<br \/>\n\tUnderstanding what the customer is looking to solve<br \/>\n\tNetworking within the industry<br \/>\n\tIdentifying new markets and business opportunities\/threats\/competitor activities and communicate back into the Teraco business<br \/>\n\tPipeline management and reporting<br \/>\n\tReview of client\u2019s business to understand what they do, how they do it and how they benefit from the Teraco Eco-Systems<br \/>\n\tBuilding relationships throughout client business levels to maximise depth of awareness of Teraco and create strategic relationships<br \/>\n\tUpsell Teraco products (e.g. interconnects, cabinets etc) and Value Added services (e.g. client portal etc) into clients<br \/>\n\tConduct regular interactions with clients<br \/>\n\tRenegotiating contracts when required<br \/>\n\tCommunicate clients offering to Teraco sales team<br \/>\n\tEnsure that client perception of Teraco service and offering is of the highest standard and communicating client issues\/complaints into the formal Teraco channels<br \/>\n\tResolving Account related enquiries and communicating with Internal departments to resolve issues.<br \/>\n\tOperating as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to client accounts<br \/>\n\tDevelop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and sponsors<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities<br \/>\n\tEnsure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs<br \/>\n\tLiaison between the customer and internal teams<\/p>\n<p>Churn prevention<\/p>\n<p>\tResponding to possible churn timeously and taking action to prevent churn<\/p>\n<p>Administration<\/p>\n<p>\tMaintaining CRM with up-to-date client contacts and activity details.<br \/>\n\tNegotiating any additional terms in the supply of services<\/p>\n<p>Reporting and communication<\/p>\n<p>\tBuilding relationships throughout business levels to maximise depth of awareness of Teraco and create strategic relationships<br \/>\n\tPersonal Performance review report<\/p>\n<p>QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n<p>\tMatric Qualifications and degree\/ diploma(s)<br \/>\n\tAt least 10 years Account Management experience within the ICT sector<br \/>\n\tProven track record in closing large accounts<br \/>\n\tSales Executive with experience in the ICT sector dealing with partners and Public Sector<br \/>\n\tGood understanding of general cloud concepts and application<br \/>\n\tAdvanced Microsoft Office skills<br \/>\n\tExperience and understanding of RFP process responses<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.teraco.co.za ) or<\/p>\n<p>teraco.mcidirecthire.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/teraco.mcidirecthire.com","_company_name":"Teraco","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.teraco.co.za","_company_tagline":"Teraco is the first provider of resilient, vendor neutral data environments in South Africa.
