{"id":11298,"date":"2025-06-02T18:02:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-02T18:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/branch-manager-vryburg-branch-manager-rustenburg-mafikeng-branch-manager-mamelodi\/"},"modified":"2025-09-03T00:24:14","modified_gmt":"2025-09-03T00:24:14","slug":"branch-manager-vryburg-branch-manager-rustenburg-mafikeng-branch-manager-mamelodi","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=11298","title":{"rendered":"Branch Manager &#8211; Vryburg \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Branch Manager &#8211; Rustenburg\/Mafikeng \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Branch Manager &#8211; Mamelodi \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Branch Manager &#8211; Johannesburg \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Branch Manager &#8211; Rustenburg\/Mafikeng \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Branch Manager &#8211; Nelspruit \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Branch Manager &#8211; Bloemfontein \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Contracts Officer \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Business Analyst Intermediate (Digital) \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Retail Branch Manager- Kwa Mashu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What will you do?<\/p>\n<p>\tTo grow the customer base and revenue of Sanlam Retail Mass through developing and overseeing the execution of the retail branch strategy.<br \/>\n\tGuiding, integrating and standardising the activities, goals and objectives of various Sales Consultants in the branch, in line with the strategy.<br \/>\n\tLeading a service delivery culture and eco-system within and outside of the branch to enable an optimal client experience.<br \/>\n\tAssuming responsibility for the successful day to day maintenance and management of the Retail branch.<br \/>\n\tBeing a key representative for the retail branch in the industry.<\/p>\n<p>What will make you successful in this role?<br \/>\nStrategy Development and Business Planning:<\/p>\n<p>\tWork with Area Manager and translate the Provincial strategy into a retail branch strategy, specifying targets, objectives and metrics.<br \/>\n\tContribute insights to monthly, quarterly and annual business planning for retail branches in the Region \/ Province.<br \/>\n\tResponsible for managing operational costs in line with the allocated budget.<br \/>\n\tDevelop incentive tactics for the Branch Consultants and drive performance<br \/>\n\tRetail Branch Sales Delivery<\/p>\n<p>Activations:<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and execute strategies (campaigns \/ promotions \/ events \/ etc.) to entice and draw clients from outside of the branch.<br \/>\n\tPlan and represent the branch at various forums \/ events \/ community platforms to establish awareness and gain business.<\/p>\n<p>Sales and Operational Effectiveness:<\/p>\n<p>\tCommunicate the Retail Branch strategy, sales targets and metrics to Branch Consultants.<br \/>\n\tIdentify Key Result Areas and work with Branch Consultants to develop and agree collective targets.<br \/>\n\tMonitor activities and the achievement of sales targets in the branch.<br \/>\n\tIdentify areas of improvement and work with Branch Consultants to address \/ rectify.<br \/>\n\tWork with Business Owners of supporting functions (HR, Technology, etc.), and put the right mechanisms in place (systems, processes, technology) to ensure the branch is able to deliver a service and achieve targets.<br \/>\n\tIdentify and escalate areas of improvement regarding support systems, processes, and technologies.<br \/>\n\tWhere possible, solve problems or propose solutions to prevent issues from reoccurring.<\/p>\n<p>Establish and drive a Service Culture:<\/p>\n<p>\tAlign processes and procedures in the Bank to allow for a smooth, efficient and optimal client experience.<br \/>\n\tDevelop, drive and monitor client experience, and client service delivery standards in the branch.<br \/>\n\tManage the daily achievements of and adherence to service delivery SLAs. Identify areas of continuous improvement and take corrective action to address it.<br \/>\n\tEnsure all client complaints and queries are handled effectively, within SLA timeframes. Where relevant, respond to escalations and continuously provide feedback to clients regarding outcomes \/ progress of resolutions.<\/p>\n<p>Compliance, Quality and Risk Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure compliance and quality standards are effectively communicated and adopted across the branch.<br \/>\n\tEnsure alignment to the Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF) framework in all business practices and ensure the branch operates within the FSCA regulations.<\/p>\n<p>People Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tWork with Human Resources and Talent Acquisition to put the necessary capacity \/ capability in place to achieve sales targets in the branch.<br \/>\n\tWork with HR to establish and maintain good people practices in the branch.<br \/>\n\tResponsible for all operational people practices relating to direct reports, in collaboration with the Human Resource Function (talent management, performance management, individual development and growth, resolving grievances, leave allocation, capacity management, etc.).<br \/>\n\tManage and support the accreditation and continuous professional growth of staff functioning in the branch.<\/p>\n<p>Monthly Planning and Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tResponsible for monthly reporting of sales and service activities in the Branch.
