DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:<\/p>\n
CONTROL IT STOCKROOM<\/p>\n
\tMaintain cleanliness and order in the store.
\n\tReceipt of new equipment.
\n\tCheck received stock against invoices\/ waybills.
\n\tAssetising of new equipment and placement in store.
\n\tPutting together of equipment as requested by technician.
\n\tSign out and scan out of equipment.
\n\tReceipt of returned equipment.
\n\tPlace working equipment back in store.
\n\tScrap old and redundant equipment by removing asset sticker and placing in scrap store.
\n\tInvestigate & declare variances and take corrective action.
\n\tCompare tick vs book.
\n\tUpdate movement list with daily equipment received or booked out.
\n\tDo periodic store audits.
\n\tKeep record of stock levels.
\n\tLog calls for purchase when minimum stock levels have been reached.
\n\tCheck tools of technicians.
\n\tConduct follows- ups and ensure customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n
POST CONTROL STOCK CONTROL<\/p>\n
\tPreparing of equipment for post cars. Log calls for prepping of equipment, if necessary.
\n\tScan out, filling in redeploy, arrange for signing of documents and sending of post car equipment.
\n\tFollow up that equipment sent, with post cars, have been received.
\n\tFollow up that old and faulty equipment has been received back, before call is closed.
\n\tConduct follow-ups and ensure customer satisfaction.<\/p>\n
PROVIDE AD HOC SUPPORT<\/p>\n
\tConduct DSS Support.
\n\tAssistance in department with new projects.
\n\tConduct incident investigations.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tNational Senior Certificate; A+
\n\tAt least 1-year relevant experience in an IT environment<\/p>\n
