Key Task & Accountabilities<\/p>\n
\tThis role reports into the CEO of Bryte Specialist Motor (BSM).
\n\tEstablish reasonable sales targets that are in line with the Company strategy and identify shortcomings in the market plan \u2013 adjusting as needed.
\n\tDevelop and implement effective sales strategies and implementing processes and procedures.
\n\tResponsible for the growth and managing a pipeline in respect of desired growth whilst demonstrating specialised knowledge and expertise in products and industry; always maintaining profitability.
\n\tPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
\n\tOversee portfolio performance nationwide.
\n\tManagement, coaching and development of Portfolio Managers to assist with establishing and maintaining a high-performance culture.
\n\tBuild relationships with internal and external stakeholders to successfully negotiate with customers on their insurance needs.
\n\tLead the development and implementation of business solutions through providing innovative ideas in respect of product development.
\n\tLiaise with Marketing and Product Development Departments to ensure brand consistency.
\n\tEnsure consistent application of the Underwriting Rating Guidelines.
\n\tOversee audit processes with regards to the onboarding of new propositions. (Authorising new Broker Agencies).
\n\tPerform research and identify new market opportunities and clients.
\n\tOffer guidance and support; keep the Sales team motivated and ensure they are engaged.
\n\tManage and oversee the client database.
\n\tRecognise top producers for their contribution to the Company.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\tHigher Certificate in Insurance, Fellowship advantageous
\n\tRE 5 (RE 1 will be advantageous)
\n\t8 or more years\u2019 experience in Commercial Underwriting and Portfolio Management
\n\t3 \u2013 4 years management experience
\n\tTechnical knowledge of the Motor and Commercial Products as well as the relevant Regulatory and Compliance requirements<\/p>\n
