Education, experience and competencies<\/p>\n
\tMatric and tertiary qualification\/technical diploma in Electronic Engineering Technology and\/or Electrical Trade (Red Seal).
\n\t2+ years of hands-on experience in electronics assembly, testing, or troubleshooting (preferably in a lab or product development environment).
\n\tStrong knowledge of electronic systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair
\n\tKnowledge of electronic components, schematics, and PCB layout. (advantageous)
\n\tAbility to work from technical drawings, datasheets, and engineering documentation.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAssist engineers in the assembly, prototyping, and testing of systems.
\n\tAssist Product Specialist with Software and Hardware testing.
\n\tPerform diagnostic evaluations, fault isolation, and rework of PCB assemblies and prototypes.
\n\tDocument test results, product configurations, and any deviations from specifications.
\n\tUse test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, logic analysers) to validate circuit performance.
\n\tSupport product qualification testing including thermal, vibration, EMI\/EMC, and compliance checks.
\n\tAssist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, such as test procedures, wiring diagrams, and part lists.
\n\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance to support product transitions from prototype to production.
\n\tMaintain lab equipment, tools, and inventory in a safe and organized manner.
\n\tAnalysing product requirements and customer needs.
\n\tAssisting in the preparation of product presentations and demonstrations.
\n\tProvide on-site and remote technical support to clients and end-users
\n\tPromptly troubleshoot and resolve issues with electronic systems.
\n\tMonitor electronic system performance and suggest improvements for efficiency and reliability<\/p>\n
