THE KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS OF THE ROLE IN FOCUS, ARE:<\/p>\n
Acquisition of goods & services, in line with the Delegation of Authority<\/p>\n
\tReview requisitions from Requesting Departments and ensure requisitions are realistic and aligned to the goods or services required.
\n\tConduct market analysis and advise on the best approach to the market.
\n\tAcquire Goods and services within the contracted targets and timelines.
\n\tAssist user departments with briefing sessions and site inspections where necessary.
\n\tAttend and resolve any procurement of goods and services queries timely.
\n\tProvide inputs to the policies, procedures and templates.<\/p>\n
Assist with Contract Administration<\/p>\n
\tSubmit complete packs of acquisition to Contract Administration.<\/p>\n
Filing of procurement documents<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that all procurement documents are timeously and accurately filed in SharePoint.<\/p>\n
Internal & External Audit<\/p>\n
\tEnsure submission of relevant information as requested by auditors within the prescribed timelines.<\/p>\n
And ensure the following:<\/p>\n
\tClarifications submitted to the auditors within the prescribed period.
\n\tAudit findings management response submitted within prescribed timelines
\n\tInputs into the management action plan to address findings.
\n\tResolution of management action plans within the prescribed timelines<\/p>\n
Reporting<\/p>\n
\tContribute to the monthly report on procurement through RFQs timelines
\n\tContribute to the Monthly report on procurement progress report<\/p>\n
Organisational Participation<\/p>\n
\tParticipate in organisational activities including serving in established structures and forums.<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Engagement<\/p>\n
\tProactively engage requesting departments on their requisitions and also propose best solution for their needs.
\n\tProvide feedback to client departments on procurement progress and the outcome.<\/p>\n
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma in Procurement \/ Supply Chain or any other relevant field of study
\n\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in public procurement and \/ or purchasing \/ buying.
\n\tExperience and knowledge of end-to-end tendering process is a must
\n\tKnowledge\/understanding of National Treasury instruction Note, PFMA is preferred.<\/p>\n
