Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Maintenance Support:<\/p>\n
\tLink new materials to Bill of Materials (BOM) and update BOM on SAGE.
\n\tLoad new task lists and update existing task lists on the system.
\n\tCapture, update and maintain maintenance plans.<\/p>\n
Maintenance Scheduling:<\/p>\n
\tDetermine maintenance needs and coordinate with relevant internal or external Artisans.
\n\tCreate Work Orders and allocate the task lists to the relevant Supervisors.
\n\tCreate Requisitions for non-stock items and allocate components.
\n\tRelease Purchase Requisitions \/ Work Order Permits.
\n\tCheck material and follow up on material availability and arrange expediting if necessary.
\n\tReport discrepancies for scheduled materials on a weekly basis.
\n\tRelease planned work and monitor the forward workload.
\n\tEstimate Work Order costs.
\n\tAllocate resources, arrange weekly planning meetings and create maintenance schedules.
\n\tEstimate the cost of scheduled work for the week.
\n\tCommunicate and issue the schedule.
\n\tPrint Work Orders as required to ensure maintenance according to the maintenance plan.<\/p>\n
Contractor Management:<\/p>\n
\tOptimise resource levelling through the use of internal or contractor Artisans for planned work.
\n\tCreate Service Entry Sheets for planned work.
\n\tVerify contractor attendance the week before the job is scheduled to start
\n\tCollate all required paperwork for legal appointments.
\n\tCoordinate medical bookings and other site \/ client specific requirements.
\n\tAssist with Health & Safety campaigns as and when required.
\n\tCompile various reports according to organizational and client requirements.<\/p>\n
Qualification Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric (Grade 12) or an equivalent qualification registered at NQF Level 4, including relevant NATED courses (e.g., N3 Certificate)
\n\tValid Trade Test Certificate will be advantageous<\/p>\n
Experience and Skills Requirements<\/p>\n
\tA minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in an engineering planning or maintenance environment
\n\tEnglish language proficiency
\n\tTime management skills
\n\tComputer literate in MS Office
\n\tRelevant planned maintenance system training<\/p>\n
