Responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n
\tTransporting of research staff.
\n\tTransporting of equipment and supplies for the study.
\n\tSupporting general project administrative tasks.
\n\tAdhering to standard operating procedures for relevant policies within the SAMRC
\n\tRecord keeping and report writing<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0A grade 12 certificate\/NQF4 qualification or similar qualification or higher
\n\t3 years of driving experience
\n\tGood communication skills (bilingual, English and isiZulu)
\n\tCode 8 driver\u2019s license
\n\tValid Professional Driving Permit (PDP)
\n\tFamiliar with driving in uMkhanyakude, northern KwaZulu-Natal<\/p>\n
\u00a0Advantageous:<\/p>\n
\tPrior experience in research work in communities
\n\tHas experience transporting passengers and goods for an extended period (e.g. transporting staff\/stakeholders)
\n\tExcellent communication skills and able to work in a team
\n\tAdministration and organization skills (record keeping and reporting)<\/p>\n
