Qualifying Criteria:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 11 or equivalent NQF 4 qualifications.
\n\tCode 08 \/ 10 driver\u2019s license.
\n\tMQA Competency B Certificate; Relevant qualifications, courses and licenses.
\n\tMinimum of 1-3 years\u2019 experience in a trackless mining environment.
\n\tProficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages.
\n\tMust be a legal South African citizen.
\n\tClear Criminal Record.
\n\tDeclared medically fit for the position by our OHP<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tWork a cycle or a rotation of shifts
\n\tGood operating skills and at least 1-3 years experience within a trackless mining environment
\n\tPerform pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections and complete daily checklist
\n\tAssist with daily check and weekly services
\n\tBe observant\/vigilant when the machine is operational and \/ or in motion
\n\tLoading and clearing of ore for transportation by the trucks
\n\tAssist with and monitor preventative and breakdown maintenance during shift (fill up fuel, oil, lubrication, etc.)
\n\tEnsure that the machine is in good operating order and report any faults and inconsistencies to the supervisor (s) and control room
\n\tAlways take instructions from the supervisor(s) responsible for the shift
\n\tConduct all work according to required standards and specifications
\n\tAdhere to MHSA standards & Gold1\u2019s safety motto:\u00a0\u201cNothing is so important that it cannot be done safely\u201d<\/p>\n
