\nKey Responsibilities And Duties<\/p>\n
\tRepair and service motor vehicles according to Motus standards and specifications\u00a0
\n\tRepair and service vehicles according to specific or franchise specifications
\n\tEstablish parts required for service or repairs to be performed and ensure the correct parts are ordered
\n\tReport to Foreman \/ Service Advisor promptly on any additional work required
\n\tObtain authorisation prior to carrying out additional work
\n\tObtain technical information from Foreman \/ Master Technician on problem jobs
\n\tAdhere to Motus workshop policies and procedures
\n\tEnsure that all old parts are placed in a plastic bag in the boot of the vehicle, except in the case of warranty work where old parts must be returned to the Warranty Clerk
\n\tEnsure that all oils and consumables used are recorded on the job card
\n\tEnsure that worked hours are clocked correctly
\n\tEnsure that the vehicle is kept as clean as possible and that all seat and fender covers are clean
\n\tDo not leave keys in an unattended vehicle
\n\tEnsure that work bay is kept safe, clean and tidy
\n\tReport any faulty \/ broken equipment to the Foreman \/ Workshop Manager
\n\tEnsure that special tools and equipment are used according to safety regulations and specifications
\n\tEnsure that hand tools set conforms to Motus standard
\n\tAccept responsibility for apprentice and impart as much technical knowledge to him as possible through explanation, practice and the monitoring of work, including rectifying faults
\n\tReasonable requests by Management outside your job description will be performed from time to time
\n\tPlease note that preference will be given to EE Candidates in line with the Companies transformation goals<\/p>\n
