\tDesign scalable and robust digital solutions that meet current and future business needs;
\n\tInnovate and design solutions for complex challenges, ensuring that they are feasible and aligned with business goals;
\n\tDevelop detailed architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and integration strategies for digital initiatives;
\n\tMap proposed business solutions onto architectural frameworks, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and technical standards;
\n\tEnsure all solutions are aligned with the organisation’s technology standards and architectural principles;
\n\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify the right technologies and approaches for solving business challenges;
\n\tWork closely with business and technical stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions;
\n\tEngage with vendors and third-party service providers to evaluate and integrate external solutions;
\n\tAct as a technical advisor for organisational projects, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation;
\n\tLead technical discussions and design reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables;
\n\tConduct risk assessments and provide mitigation solutions;
\n\tSupport project teams in integrating technical solutions with existing systems and platforms;
\n\tEnsure that the delivery of technical solutions meets the highest standards of quality, consistency, and reliability;
\n\tImplement best practices for data protection, identity management, and secure coding;
\n\tMaintain comprehensive documentation of all architectural designs, decisions, and project-related information;
\n\tCommunicate technical concepts and strategies effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 or equivalent;
\n\tBachelor\u2019s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Essential)
\n\tPostgraduate or Masters degree (Beneficial)
\n\tMinimum of 8 years of experience in IT, including experience in Solutions Architecture (Essential);
\n\tExperience with cloud computing, SaaS, and PaaS solutions (Essential);
\n\tProven experience leading successful projects in digital transformation and innovation as a Solutions Architect (Essential);
\n\tExtensive experience in the areas of digitization and Systems architecture (Essential).<\/p>\n
