emails;<br \/>\n\tRepresent TETA at approved forums, meetings and consultative processes.<\/p>\n<p>Manage Apprentice Budget<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide input to budget allocation of discretionary grant funding towards scarce and critical technical skills;<br \/>\n\tMonitoring of costs related to Apprenticeship training.<\/p>\n<p>Manage Apprentice Priorities in Transport Sector<\/p>\n<p>\tConsolidation of Chamber SWOT &amp; PESTEL analysis for Apprenticeship requirements;<br \/>\n\tProvide coordinated input into TETA&#8217;s Sector Skills Plan through analysis of Chamber identified Apprenticeship scarce and critical skills priorities.<br \/>\n\t6.Manage Apprentice Administration System<br \/>\n\tEnsure Apprentice Agreements Registered;<br \/>\n\tEnsure Apprentice Information Captured onto MIS;<br \/>\n\tEnsure the availability of Apprentice information and records;<br \/>\n\tArrange for Trade Testing of Apprentices;<br \/>\n\tEnsure effective and efficient communication processes between TETA, Employers, Providers, Apprentices and Department of Higher Education Training;<br \/>\n\tServe as secretariat to TETA\u2019s Committees related to apprentice;\u00a0<br \/>\n\tInvestigate applications, the circumstances and make recommendations relating to termination of apprenticeship in accordance with the Skills Development Act;<br \/>\n\tInvestigate and make recommendations on resolving all training related conflicts that arise between the Employers, Training Providers, Testing Officials and Apprentices.<\/p>\n<p>Reporting<\/p>\n<p>\tPrepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual reports to ETQA manager on implementation and monitoring of apprenticeships in line with TETA\u2019s reporting requirements;<br \/>\n\tCoordinate reporting on Apprentice related discretionary grant contracts in consultation with respective Chambers;<br \/>\n\tPrepare reports for approval by ETQA Manager for dissemination to respective Chamber Mancoms.<\/p>\n<p>SDP Auditing<\/p>\n<p>\tConduct audits on assessment and moderation of criterion tests, phase tests and trade test application processes to ensure consistency and credibility of methods and instruments;<br \/>\n\tConduct regular audits on Assessors, Moderators and Trade Test Officials.<\/p>\n<p>Employee Engagement<\/p>\n<p>\tJob profiles updated and signed annually (Signed job profiles and updated KPI\u2019s before the due date as stipulated by Human Resources);<br \/>\n\tCommunicating with departmental staff and following up on departmental goals monthly (Attendance registers, Minutes of meetings.<\/p>\n<p>Audit and Risk<\/p>\n<p>\tPrepare for Internal and External audits and submit evidence within agreed timeframes (Proof of evidence submitted);<br \/>\n\tEnsure no repeat findings in the AG Management Report and implement corrective action of existing findings (Proof of corrective measures implemented to close audit findings).<\/p>\n<p>Capacity Development<\/p>\n<p>\tIdentify and research issues affecting the apprenticeship system and make recommendations on how the system\u00a0can be improved (continuous development);<br \/>\n\tEvaluate the effectiveness of training programs, using surveys, questionnaires, interviews and observation,in order to plan future courses or to amend existing ones;<br \/>\n\tProvide input and guidance on the transformation of apprenticeships into learnerships<br \/>\n\tMonitor trends in PESTEL factors impacting on Apprenticeships;\u00a0<br \/>\n\tBuild capacity amongst TETA staff, stakeholders, SDF\u2019s and providers on Apprentice related matters.<\/p>\n<p>Management Responsibility<\/p>\n<p>\tIdentify and agree on team and individual goals (Signed Performance Agreements submitted on or before the due date set by HR);<br \/>\n\tManage self and staff time, attendance and leave according to the Leave Policy (ESS Leave Transactions Report, Self\/Staff Attendance registers, and Leave registers;)<br \/>\n\tManage staff and personal development (Signed Personal Development Plans for self and subordinates (PDP&#8217;s), Proof of PDP implementations (attendance registers of meetings;
