The ideal candidate would be responsible for:<\/p>\n
\tThe servicing, repairs, projects and maintenance of all farm equipment.
\n\tAttending to breakdowns.
\n\tCoordinating tasks for the farm\u2019s maintenance team.
\n\tManaging strict bio-security protocols.
\n\tManaging and control of Health and Safety requirements and laws within the Maintenance department.
\n\tImplementing and maintaining 20 Keys which includes staff discipline\u00a0
\n\tMaintenance planning and assist with projects.
\n\tTeam supervision (manage a team, scheduling, assigning tasks and provide training
\n\tFacility upkeep.
\n\tProblem solving to minimize disruptions to the farming operations.
\n\tInventory management.
\n\tCompliance, inspections and record keeping.
\n\tBudget management.<\/p>\n
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMust have the relevant building \/ plumbing & carpentry experience.
\n\tTrade tested.
\n\tMinimum of 5 years post qualification experience.
\n\tPassionate, self-motivated and performance driven.
\n\tA team player with the ability to manage staff.
\n\tMust be pro-active and be able to work accurately and independently.
\n\tBe prepared to work outside of normal working hours.
\n\tMust have a valid driver\u2019s license and own reliable transport.
\n\tMust be prepared to work standby and attend to call outs after hours and weekends.<\/p>\n
