\n\tWe currently have a vacancy in our Tax Division for an experienced Senior Tax Compliance Officer to take responsibility for managing a diverse portfolio of tax clients and overseeing a small to medium-sized tax team.<\/p>\n
This role involves handling all aspects of tax compliance, including:<\/p>\n
\tTax return submissions
\n\teFiling administration
\n\tSARS correspondence
\n\tClient communication
\n\tProviding guidance and support to team members where needed

Minimum Requirements\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAffiliation with SAIPA or SAIT would be advantageous.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
\tThe ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of South African tax legislation and the ability to apply it practically across a wide range of tax compliance functions.
\n\tThese include managing tax returns, objections and appeals, SARS correspondence, tax registrations and deregistrations, and eFiling administration for various entities.
\n\tThe role also involves handling client queries, non-residency matters, and tax directive applications.<\/p>\n
Key competencies include:<\/p>\n
\tExpertise in the Income Tax Act, VAT Act, and SARS compliance
\n\tFamiliarity with Department of Labour reporting
\n\tProficiency in Caseware Tax Cloud (advantageous), Excel, and general IT systems
\n\tAdaptability to new platforms and processes<\/p>\n
