\tOn the Managed Fleets team, you will get to build innovative software that lets customers define the shape and size of their fleets and to monitor the health and efficiency of how they are run.
\n\tYou will be using technologies like Java, Typescript, React and Python as well as various Native AWS services and Amazon-internal tools.
\n\tWe don’t expect you to be an expert in, or know all these technologies listed, but we do expect you to be excited to learn about them.
\n\tAs an experienced engineer in this team, you will play a committed role in developing high quality software designs & solutions to our often complex problems.
\n\tThis position involves on-call responsibilities.
\n\tThis is typically once every 6 weeks.
\n\tWe don\u2019t like to be paged unnecessarily and we strive to keep this down and ensure our systems are fault tolerant.

\tA successful Software Development Engineer will have good design skills, an excellent ability to solve problems, good communication skills and a desire to be a key technical contributor.
\n\tThe software you will be responsible for will require a breadth of technical development knowledge (i.e. distributed systems, synchronous API orchestration, scalability, availability).
\n\tDaily work will involve interacting with engineers, stakeholders and managers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\t3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
\n\tExperience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
\n\tExperience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design<\/p>\n
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\t3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
\n\tBachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent<\/p>\n
