Primary Purpose of the Job<\/p>\n
\tWe are searching for a strategic Marketing Specialist who specialises in planning and implementing marketing strategies, to join our professional auditing and advisory services firm.
\n\tThe Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies aligned with our multi-year sector and service line business strategies in a business-to-business (B2B) environment.
\n\tThis may involve market research, developing media plans, creating content, and managing campaigns.
\n\tThe ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of integrated marketing in the professional services industry, be well-versed in industry best practices; and possess the creativity and drive to help us achieve our strategic business objectives.
\n\tThey must also be familiar with the latest marketing software and technologies.
\n\tAdditionally, they may be required to analyse data to identify opportunities for improvement and adjust campaigns accordingly<\/p>\n
Main Duties and Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tIntegrated Marketing: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and campaigns that support the firm’s multi-year sector and service line business strategy.
\n\tCompetitor Analyses: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify target markets, industry trends and client needs, and use insights to inform marketing strategies.
\n\tSectors, Service lines and Regions: Provide active support to Sectors, Service lines and Regions generally as well as in relation to a specific portfolio. This is to elevate the BDO brand and its offerings; and enhance its reputation and positioning in the market. Cross-functional teams; Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sector leaders, service line partners, and business development, to create and execute effective marketing initiatives.
\n\tContent: Create compelling marketing collateral, including thought leadership content, industry reports, case studies, and client success stories, to position the firm as a trusted advisor in the market.
\n\tDigital: Drive digital marketing efforts, including content marketing, email campaigns, social media marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO), to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
\n\tEvents & Platforms: Create and manage industry-specific events, webinars, conferences and speaking engagements to enhance the firm’s thought leadership position and engage with key stakeholders.
\n\tWebsite & social media: Develop and maintain the firm’s website content and digital content, ensuring effective communication of the firm’s value propositions, services, sectors and expertise.
\n\tBusiness development: Collaborate with the business development team to align marketing efforts with their activities and support their client acquisition efforts.
\n\tMeasurement: Monitor and analyse marketing performance metrics, track campaign effectiveness, and provide regular reports to stakeholders, making data-driven recommendations for optimisation.
\n\tRegulatory & Industry trends: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging marketing strategies to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
\n\tBDO Global: Ensure that the global relationships within the marketing mandate are fostered and maintained.<\/p>\n

\tBachelor\u2019s degree in marketing, Business or a related field<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 marketing experience, preferably in the professional services industry<\/p>\n
Job Competencies<\/p>\n
\tProven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies in a B2B environment.
\n\tStrong understanding of auditing and advisory services and the ability to translate technical concepts into compelling marketing messages.
\n\tExcellent knowledge of B2B marketing principles, strategies and best practices.
\n\tProficiency in digital marketing platforms and tools, including marketing automation, CRM systems, email marketing, social media management, and SEO.
\n\tExperience in creating thought leadership content, industry reports and case studies.
\n\tExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
\n\tAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
\n\tStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
\n\tFamiliarity with relevant industry regulations, compliance, and ethics in auditing and advisory services is highly desirable..<\/p>\n
