Key Roles and Responsibilities: <\/p>\n
Asset Care <\/p>\n
\tManages all Brewing maintenance activities and lead a team on day shift
\n\tDiagnoses and interprets problems (fault finding) to optimize production output and with own team carrying out the plant repairs.
\n\tResponsible for the reduction of breakdowns in the Brewing area by analyzing breakdowns, complying with the PM requirements and implementing Continuous Improvements
\n\tReviews and Implements the Planned Maintenance Procedures ( Weekly and Monthly Checklists).
\n\tEnsures that service levels agreements are maintained at the required standards by carrying out all breakdown, corrective, preventative and predictive maintenance, and loop closure implementation effectively.
\n\tParticipate in executing the department\u2019s asset care strategy and ensure the machine performance of the Brewing department is maintained.
\n\tDraws up, coaches and develops the engineering skills of other maintenance and operational staff using OPLs, SOPs and SWIs.
\n\tControls and oversees maintenance cost against available budget.
\n\tEnsures engineering standards applied correctly.
\n\tEnsures compliance to Pressure Vessels and Equipment Regulations.
\n\tSupports the scoping of CAPEX projects within Brewing Plant.
\n\tMaintaining the integrity and security of maintenance management systems.<\/p>\n
Problem Solving and Decisions Making <\/p>\n
\tResponsible for fault finding and problem solving of engineering\/ operational problems by ensuring that the appropriate corrective action regarding any deviation from standards are taken
\n\tTakes responsibility and coach team members to use the 4 phases of problem solving
\n\tIdentifies the major engineering losses in Brewing area and investigates using problem solving methodologies. (5 Why, Stage 1 etc.)
\n\tReviews emergency works orders and initiate investigations and corrective action
\n\tCapability to develop and lead cross functional teams to deliver Business needs.<\/p>\n
Safety and Hygiene<\/p>\n
\tEnsures team compliance with acts and procedures
\n\tMaintains 5S and housekeeping standards
\n\tEnsures reporting, investigation, documentation and action of incidents as per the relevant acts and procedures
\n\tPromotes safety awareness
\n\tEnsure compliance with special work permit requirements by own employees and contractors
\n\tEnsure compliance with Dust Explosion prevention and management standards
\n\tAdministration<\/p>\n

\tManages Level 1 – 2 team goals in Brewing area
\n\tManages team\u2019s maintenance performance measures
\n\tConducts individual and team performance reviews and one on ones. Provides performance feedback
\n\tLeads all VPO initiatives in the department
\n\tApplies and sustains industrial relations initiatives, policies, procedures, agreements core values
\n\tPerforms relevant routines and supervisory walkabouts and checks<\/p>\n
Quality <\/p>\n
\tEnsures that Company Quality Standards and are adhered to in the utilities area<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements: <\/p>\n
\tMinimum Qualification: BTech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
\n\tMinimum 3 – 5 years\u2019 experience in Preventive Predictive Maintenance concerned with production plant, involved in the day to day inspections, preventive predictive maintenance and repair of machinery
\n\tStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at various levels of the organization
\n\tPrevious experience with VPO or other continuous improvement tools would be advantageous
\n\tAbility to prioritize and manage maintenance projects in a Brewing environment
\n\tGood knowledge of sustainable development reporting would be advantageous
\n\tGood all round knowledge of manufacturing
\n\tDemonstrated knowledge of SHE policies and procedures
\n\tDesirable, but not essential
\n\tKnowledge of Brewing plant or bottling hall production and processes will be an advantage<\/p>\n
