DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
\tAlign regional inspectorate function with national and strategic objectives.
\n\tEnsure that National Strategic objectives are met in accordance with the collective agreement.
\n\tManage Agents to ensure performance goals are met to achieve strategic objectives.
\n\tProvide day-to-day management of Inspectorate staff.
\n\tCoordinate inspectorate activities to improve and maintain compliance levels as per the collective agreement.
\n\tManage internal relationships within the Inspectorate and regional team.
\n\tMaintain communication with establishments regarding the collective agreement to promote healthy industrial relations.
\n\tOversee the registration of new establishments within the region.
\n\tAttend National Chief Agent\u2019s Forum and Regional Board meetings.
\n\tEnsure exemptions related to inspectorate are captured accurately on the system and submitted for approval by the Regional Secretary.
\n\tManage the process of capturing letters of good standing.
\n\tCompile monthly reports for respective forums.
\n\tAssess and address training requirements for staff.
\n\tManage staff performance and conduct performance appraisals.
\n\tProvide assistance in the collection of outstanding returns via the Regional Credit Control department<\/p>\n
MINIMUN QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAppropriate Grade 12 (Matric) certificate with a post Matric qualification in Labour Relations will be highly required
\n\tMust hold a Designated status for a minimum for over three years and above
\n\tminimum 4 years \u00a0experience in a managerial role, preferably in a regulatory or compliance-related environment
\n\tStrong understanding of collective agreements and compliance standards.
\n\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tProven ability to manage and motivate teams to achieve performance goals.
\n\tDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
\n\tAbility to analyze data and make informed decisions.
\n\tProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
\n\tMIBCO Succession Planning Programme will be advantageous<\/p>\n
