\tFine Chemicals requires the services of a highly competent Maintenance Manager for the Engineering Department.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tProvide leadership and support to maintenance Team leaders, Artisans and Trade hands.
\n\tResponsible for Compliance of Mechanical equipment Lifting equipment and Pressure vessels and systems.
\n\tResponsible for adherence to Maintenance and schedules.
\n\tManage Operation and Maintenance of Mechanical equipment and facility.
\n\tPlan and Coordinate maintenance activities with the relevant Department within FCC where required.
\n\tLease with external service providers to ensure all maintenance and statutory requirements for safe and reliable operation of equipment and systems.
\n\tObtain and review quotations from external service providers for maintenance and repairs Equipment and systems.
\n\tEnsure full compliance and execution of the company\u2019s maintenance programmes, policies and procedures on all designated work.
\n\tPlan work and lease with the relevant department to ensure work is completed on time as per schedules and production requirements.
\n\tOn a continuous basis, we carry out upgrades and improvements to plant.
\n\tDrive Compliance to housekeeping standards. Manage the day-to-day functions in the Engineering workshop.
\n\tManage scheduling and completion of work on SAP In2Rep to meet operational targets for schedule adherence, plant and equipment availability and safety.
\n\tAssume responsibility for safety and compliance of Plant and Equipment as GMR2.7.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Skills Required<\/p>\n
Background\/Experience<\/p>\n
\tEducational requirements. N6 Mechanical or Electrical (Heavy Current), trade tested Millwright, Mechanical Fitter or Electrician. OR National Diploma\/BTech degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Heavy Current).
\n\t8-10 years\u2019 management experience, of which at least 5 years must be in an FMCG or Pharmaceutical environment.
\n\tA good understanding of Maintenance principles, the OHAS Act.
\n\tMust be computer literate, Office 365, SAP ECC \/ S4 Hanna or similar.
\n\tGood practical and theoretical knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
\n\tProven problem-solving skills and techniques.<\/p>\n

\n\tDevelop and implement continuous improvement plans and actions.
\n\tManage departmental absenteeism.<\/p>\n
