What You Will Do<\/p>\n
As an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician, you will:<\/p>\n
\tExecute the installation and commissioning of ammonia refrigeration equipment, ensuring seamless operations from start to finish.
\n\tPerform both planned and unplanned maintenance and repairs, keeping our customers\u2019 systems in peak condition.
\n\tWork primarily on-site, directly interacting with customers and showcasing your expertise.
\n\tPlay a key role in our organization by delivering exceptional service and building strong customer relationships.<\/p>\n
How You Will Do It<\/p>\n
Your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n
\tConducting site surveys and installing ammonia refrigeration equipment with precision and care.
\n\tUpgrading and refurbishing equipment as needed, thoroughly testing to ensure compliance with our high standards.
\n\tCommissioning systems and equipment using standard tools and configurations.
\n\tMaintaining and repairing installed equipment according to service contracts, responding promptly to call-outs.
\n\tTroubleshooting and resolving issues effectively, providing valuable feedback to customers and team leaders.
\n\tIdentifying additional sales opportunities and offering consulting advice to customers to secure repeat business.<\/p>\n
What We Look For<\/p>\n
We are looking for candidates who possess:<\/p>\n
\tAt least 2 years of experience in a similar position.
\n\tA Matric certificate and a Qualified Artisan certificate.
\n\tA valid code B driver\u2019s license.
\n\tStrong computer literacy.
\n\tA solid background in refrigeration, specifically with ammonia systems.
\n\tKnowledge of ammonia systems, machines, and operations.
\n\tExperience with sub-zero applications.
\n\tElectrical skills for fault-finding and repairs.
\n\tMechanical strength for tasks such as compressor rebuilds, valve repairs, and motor removals.
\n\tThe ability to work independently and lead a team on-site.
\n\tExcellent fault-finding skills on ammonia systems.<\/p>\n
