{"id":12132,"date":"2025-06-23T10:02:32","date_gmt":"2025-06-23T10:02:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/account-executive-direct-sales-agency-and-government-sales-manager\/"},"modified":"2025-09-24T00:24:15","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T00:24:15","slug":"account-executive-direct-sales-agency-and-government-sales-manager","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=12132","title":{"rendered":"Account Executive &#8211; Direct Sales \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Agency and Government Sales Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Key Accountabilities:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure specified face to face meetings with clients per week (new clients, upselling business calls and service calls)\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure specified non-face to face contact with clients per week<br \/>\n\tCategorize and define a strategy per client for A, B and C clients with CRM calendar<br \/>\n\tEffectively ensure interdepartmental communication in respect of each on-air campaign<br \/>\n\tEnsure the campaign is effectively and accurately implemented<br \/>\n\tMeeting monthly, quarterly and annual targets<br \/>\n\tSuccessfully procure new business and close sales<br \/>\n\tDevelop methods to procure new clients<br \/>\n\tAttend to meetings and administrative functions<br \/>\n\tResearch and draft accurate proposals<br \/>\n\tUpdate the client database for all clients and capture all client activity regularly on the CRM software.<br \/>\n\tEnsure that contact reports and completed and tracked in CRM<br \/>\n\tEnsure thorough product knowledge<br \/>\n\tAwareness of client\u2019s business activities and ability to Service clients professionally<br \/>\n\tRetain a minimum of 75% of clients annually<br \/>\n\tEnsure forward planning (complete quarterly plan for each) existing client<br \/>\n\tEnsure that the Client has a great experience with the brand\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>New Business Development:<\/p>\n<p>\tSuccessfully procure new business and close sales<br \/>\n\tAchieve the set amount of client calls<br \/>\n\tAchieve the specified target for new client applications<br \/>\n\tDevelop methods to procure new clients<br \/>\n\tEnd client meetings with requests for referrals<br \/>\n\tEffectively manage the client relationship via a plan CRM strategy<br \/>\n\tEffectively ensure interdepartmental communication in respect of each on-air campaign.<br \/>\n\tEnsure the campaign is effectively and accurately implemented<\/p>\n<p>Administrative Functions:<\/p>\n<p>\tAttend meetings<br \/>\n\tResearch and draft accurate proposals<br \/>\n\tUpdate the client database for all clients and capture all client activity regularly on the CRM software.<br \/>\n\tRenew existing client campaigns<br \/>\n\tPre-call \/ post call panning<br \/>\n\tCategorize the client database<br \/>\n\tEnsure that pipeline is accurate via the CRM System<br \/>\n\tEnsure sales process and other processes are adhered to<\/p>\n<p>Manage Key Trade Partnerships:<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild and Maintain close working relationships with key trade partners<br \/>\n\tManage the day to day needs of the clients, including airtime bookings and advert recordings etc<br \/>\n\tService clients professionally<br \/>\n\tAdd input into the drawing up of partnership contracts where need be<br \/>\n\tAwareness of client\u2019s business activities<br \/>\n\tConceive and execute a Customer Relations Management strategy for these clients; including East Coast Radio management<\/p>\n<p>Requirements<\/p>\n<p>Qualification Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\tRelevant Degree\/ Diploma<\/p>\n<p>Experience and Skills Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\tCode 08 Drivers License<br \/>\n\tPreferably 2-3 years experience in the advertising and media sales environment<br \/>\n\t5-7 years experience in sales<br \/>\n\tBusiness sales and marketing principles<br \/>\n\tExcellent Communication Skills &#8211; written, verbal and telephonic.<br \/>\n\tCustomer Relationship Management<br \/>\n\tRelationship Builder<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Kagiso Media","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"Kagiso Media is the largest black-owned media corporation in South Africa.
