About the Role<\/p>\n
\tThe Electrum team lead role is a dual technical software development role combined with management leadership.
\n\tElectrum is a Java house, which means that you’ll be contributing towards our projects in Java — you don’t necessarily need to have had experience in Java but you will be required to learn it as part of the role.
\n\tElectrum is a highly collaborative environment and our software has a big impact: as a result, even though Electrum doesn’t have a remote working policy, our teams have adopted an “Office first” approach to working.<\/p>\n

Technical Expertise<\/p>\n
\tSoftware development \u2013 Leads by example by contributing towards the development of software projects.
\n\tSolution architecture \u2013 Designs and review architectural solutions.<\/p>\n
Software Delivery<\/p>\n
\tProject management \u2013 Working with the Project office, Product teams and Professional Services teams to ensure that projects are defined, prioritised and executed.
\n\tUse software development methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time and with high quality.<\/p>\n
Team Leadership<\/p>\n
\tTeam management \u2013 Sets clear goals and objectives for team members and monitors their progress.
\n\tGrowing team members \u2013 Cultivates and supports the professional and personal growth of every team member, empowering them to advance in their careers.
\n\tTeam commitment and purpose \u2013 Creates a shared sense of purpose among the team, cultivating a deep commitment to their work.

\tOne-on-ones \u2013 Conduct regular one-on-ones with team members and manage their performance and career development.
\n\tPerformance Reviews \u2013 Conduct performance evaluations of team members.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
\n\t2+ years experience leading a software development team.
\n\t2+ years experience working as a developer in a software development team.<\/p>\n
