What you will be doing<\/p>\n
\tDesign, implement, and maintain CI\/CD pipelines using CircleCI to support fast, reliable deployments.
\n\tCollaborate with development teams to standardize software release processes and improve the overall developer experience.
\n\tWork with senior engineers to create and maintain cookie-cutter templates and internal tooling to help developers adopt standard patterns, particularly for Python-based applications.
\n\tChampion DevOps best practices across engineering teams, helping onboard new developers and promoting a DevOps-as-a-Platform approach.
\n\tManage access and usage of critical development tools, including Git, Sentry, CircleCI, and other day-to-day developer platforms.
\n\tSupport and enhance local development environments to ensure consistency and productivity across teams.
\n\tContribute to infrastructure and platform engineering efforts in AWS and Azure, supporting services such as:
\n\tCompute: ECS, EC2, Lambda
\n\tStorage & Databases: S3, RDS (PostgreSQL\/Aurora), Redshift, Redis
\n\tMonitoring & Observability: CloudWatch, Datadog, Sumo Logic, OpenSearch
\n\tNetworking & CDN: Fastly CDN, VPCs, load balancing
\n\tInfrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
\n\tBuild and maintain containerized development and deployment environments using Docker, and support container orchestration platforms such as ECS.
\n\tInterface with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Application Support, and Security to align infrastructure and tooling with broader organizational needs.
\n\tDrive the adoption of best practices in DevOps, infrastructure automation, and release engineering.<\/p>\n
Desired Skills & Experience<\/p>\n
\tProven hands-on experience implementing and managing CI\/CD pipelines, preferably with CircleCI.
\n\tStrong understanding of DevOps principles and software release lifecycle.
\n\tExperience with Python development or working closely with Python-based teams.
\n\tExperience in managing developer tools and platforms (e.g., Git, Sentry, CircleCI).
\n\tExperience with infrastructure and services in AWS and\/or Azure.
\n\tFamiliarity with Terraform, Ansible, and infrastructure automation practices.
\n\tExperience with Docker and container-based development workflows.
\n\tUnderstanding of container orchestration using tools like ECS or EKS.
\n\tPassion for improving developer productivity and creating scalable, repeatable DevOps patterns.
\n\tExperience working with monitoring\/logging tools like Datadog, Sumo Logic, and CloudWatch.
\n\tUnderstanding of security and observability in cloud environments.
\n\tExperience working in a cross-functional engineering team.
\n\tSelf-starter with a strong implementation focus.
