Job Description<\/p>\n
\tWe are seeking a talented Data Scientist to the CBS team to assist in driving data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in data science methodologies and a passion for translating complex data into actionable insights using tools such as (but inclusive of) Power BI and Excel. The candidate will be responsible for analysing, and visualizing data to create informative dashboards that empower stakeholders to make informed decisions with the ability to provide insights into the data as well.<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\t5-10 relevant experience.
\n\tExpert level knowledge of SQL.
\n\tAdvanced EXCEL.
\n\tExperience using Power BI or similar tools.
\n\tData Integrations through API, ADF, Synapse, SSIS or similar tools.
\n\tDemonstrated ability to identify problems and provide solution.<\/p>\n

\tModelling of complex business problems.
\n\tIdentifying opportunities to improve business processes.
\n\tBuilding tailor made SQL solutions for monitoring and automation of controls.
\n\tDevelopment of exception reports and Power BI dashboards for stakeholders in the business.
\n\tUtilising Store procedures to create routines that maintain reporting and automated controls.
\n\tIdentify and build appropriate models\/other solutions for use in the company’s operations.
\n\tCreating logic links between data from various systems to facilitate cross system reporting.
\n\tAutomation of controls in the business processes. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0
\n\tDesign and implement automated data comparisons to trigger certain processes.
\n\tSimplifying complex manual processes into simple automated (or semi-automated) processes,
\n\tEngaging with stakeholders across the business.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Statistics\/Computer Science\/ Engineering\/ Mathematics (or combination of)<\/p>\n

\tGood knowledge of the firms various QRM related activities (Risk management knowledge)
\n\tSkills in analysis and report writing
\n\tExperience in drafting of professional presentations and reports for review
\n\tProficient in MS Office suite<\/p>\n
