Description<\/p>\n
\tThe Credit Controller is responsible for collecting all outstanding debt and minimizing debt exposure for the eMedia Investment Group.<\/p>\n
Month- End Non-Time Billing<\/p>\n
\tGenerate and raise accurate invoices, create pro-forma invoices for upfront clients.
\n\tSubmit pro-forma invoices to Manager for review and approval.\u00a0
\n\tDistribute approved invoices to clients for payment.
\n\tFollow up with customers for outstanding payments via calls, emails, and written correspondence.
\n\tEscalate non-payment issues and initiate legal proceedings if necessary.
\n\tMaintain detailed records of customer interactions and payment arrangements.<\/p>\n
Month- End Billing<\/p>\n
\tEnsure timely clearance of outstanding payments.
\n\tReconcile banking records to captured payments and resolve discrepancies.
\n\tPrepare and export an age analysis report, ensuring accuracy before submission for approval.
\n\tCompile and distribute client statements and invoices within required timeframes.<\/p>\n
Cash Flow Forecasting<\/p>\n
\tPrepare detailed cash flow forecasts, including accurate allocation of expected payments.
\n\tAddress and resolve client queries promptly and effectively.
\n\tReconcile and update client account records to maintain accurate account balances.<\/p>\n
Credit Vetting<\/p>\n
\tReview new client applications to ensure all required documentation is submitted.
\n\tConduct credit checks by generating and analysing Experian credit reports to assess client creditworthiness.
\n\tSubmit vetted applications to the line manager for approval in accordance with the established process.<\/p>\n
Reporting and Analysis<\/p>\n
\tPrepare regular reports on accounts receivable status and overdue balances.
\n\tEnsure accurate and timely processing of invoices, credit notes, and statements.
\n\tReconcile customer accounts to resolve discrepancies.
\n\tInvestigate and resolve billing disputes in collaboration with the sales and finance teams.
\n\tAnalyze credit risk and provide recommendations for improving collection processes.
\n\tProvide management with insights on debtor trends and financial risks.<\/p>\n

\tDiploma in\u00a0Credit Management and\/or Finance is essential
\n\tBachelors Degree in\u00a0Credit Management and\/or Finance is recommended<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
