Key Purpose<\/p>\n
\tThe role of an Instructional Designer at Discovery Insure involves developing high-quality training materials and continuously evaluating the learning cycle to ensure effectiveness. It also requires keeping materials updated to align with best practices.<\/p>\n
Areas of responsibility may include but are not limited to<\/p>\n
\tConsult with stakeholders across all relevant business areas to identify and address L&D needs.
\n\tDevelop tailored training materials that address specific operational challenges and enhance employee performance.
\n\tAnalyse data to identify engagement trends, make impactful recommendations, and suggest solutions.
\n\tMaintaining and adhering to controls throughout the training development process such as version control, quality control etc.
\n\tMaintaining currency of knowledge in the areas specific to learning and development, including but not limited to learning technologies, learning concepts.
\n\tSupport of eLearning clients to resolve functionality issues and liaise with LMS supplier on platform stability
\n\tDesign and develop learning material for online and classroom learning interventions. Must be familiar with using Authoring tool Articulate 360 knowledge
\n\tConsult with business areas to agree on reasonable and achievable deadlines
\n\tTrain and provide guidance to the facilitators to ensure that learning outcomes are achieved through effective presentation of material
\n\tAbility to develop material based on technical product information and specifications.
\n\tDeveloping storyboards for digital training material, which could include online courses, videos, podcasts, infographics, and animations.
\n\tStay ahead of industry trends by incorporating the latest instructional design methodologies and technologies.
\n\tDesign training courses using Authoring tool Articulate 360 knowledge.<\/p>\n
