Main duties and responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Preventative & Downtime Maintenance<\/p>\n
\tPerform scheduled maintenance and shutdown tasks according to job cards and safety permits. Ensure work is completed to standard, equipment is tested post-maintenance, and all documentation is finalized and submitted.<\/p>\n
Safety Compliance<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to OHS&E regulations, including correct PPE usage, lock-out procedures, and active participation in daily safety discussions and monthly meetings.<\/p>\n
Work Area Management<\/p>\n
\tMaintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment. Ensure all machines, tools, and storage areas are in good working condition and kept neat.<\/p>\n
Documentation & Reporting<\/p>\n
\tAccurately complete job cards, permits, and deviation schedules. Report any equipment faults, deviations, or safety concerns to the Team Manager. Manage spare part requests through approved systems.<\/p>\n
Training Support<\/p>\n
\tAssist with the training and development of apprentices when assigned, in accordance with their training logbooks.<\/p>\n
Tool & Equipment Care<\/p>\n
\tHandle tools responsibly; signing them out\/in, keeping them clean and in good condition, reporting damage, and ensuring calibration and quality checks are regularly conducted<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
Experience(More than 1 year will be advantageous)<\/p>\n
\tGood interpretation of technical drawings.
\n\tUnderstanding of Lathe machinery systems\/ operation.
\n\tTo able to manufacture spares and know how to perform work on key ways and shape milling machining such as hexagon and more.
\n\tTo able to manufacture spares.
\n\tBe able to do surface grinding using machines such as blade grinder, slotting machine and internal key ways.
\n\tBe able to operate a Mazak CNC Machine (Advantage)
\n\tBe able operate a boring mill machine.
\n\tTo perform basic welding and gas cutting work.
\n\tTo operate a drilling machine, angle grinder, portable hydraulic power packs and jig saws.
\n\tPrimary Qualifications:\u00a0Trade Relevant N3 \/ Technical Metric \/ NCV L4 with Maths and Science
