In this role, you will:<\/p>\n
\tFinancial Reporting & Analysis – Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, conducting variance analysis, and comparing actual performance with budgeted figures to provide management with valuable insights.\u00a0
\n\tBudgeting & Forecasting – Develop and manage budgets in coordination with department heads, providing financial forecasts to aid strategic planning and decision-making.\u00a0
\n\tManagement Control – Monitor internal controls to ensure compliance and operational efficiency, while identifying and implementing process improvements to strengthen financial governance.
\n\tCost Control & Optimization – Analyse cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings.
\n\tRegulatory Compliance & Tax authorities – Ensuring financial compliance with local, regional, and international financial regulations, preparing documentation,and collaborating with internal\/external auditors during audits.\u00a0
\n\tTax e-filing & E-Submission – Preparing and submitting accurate tax returns electronically, adhering to statutory deadlines, and ensuring proper documentation and audit trails for all e-filled submissions.\u00a0
\n\tCash Flow & Treasury Management – Monitoring cash flow, supporting treasury operations, and identifying alternative financial solutions to improve cost efficency and financial performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Daily Responsibilities Include:<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for preparation of Monthly Business Activities and P&L reporting.
\n\tIn charge for liaising with external auditors on audit matters and acting on management letters.
\n\tImplementing and developing financial controls & ensuring financial transactions are properly recorded and entered the computerized accounting systems.
\n\tEnsuring regular invoicing, receive and receipt payment, administering VAT (PPH 23 & PPH 4 Ayat 2) and processing returns.
\n\tAdministering the company\u2019s payroll and associated statutory requirements.
\n\tUndertaking any ad hoc duties associated with the accounts function, including maintaining financial files and records.
\n\tCarrying out other related tasks as might be required from time to time<\/p>\n
What we expect of you:<\/p>\n
\tProfessional proficiency in English (both spoken and written), as it will be your primary working language.
\n\tMinimum of 6+ years of experience working as an Accountant in a structured corporate environment.
\n\tBasic knowledge of Xero Accounting Software and strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, Macros, and VLOOKUP functions.
\n\tRelevant professional qualifications, such as ACCA, CIMA, SAIPA, or CA(SA) (advantageous).
\n\tProficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy.
\n\tHighly organized, quick to learn, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
\n\tStrong sense of professionalism, with attention to punctuality and detail.
\n\tExperience in advising, implementing, and managing workflows and processes within corporate finance functions.
\n\tAbility to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
\n\t\u00a0Willingness to support team managers with finance-related events or initiatives aligned to the company\u2019s brand.
\n\tAbility to collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, HR, and Operations.<\/p>\n
