\tB Com Degree or equivalent qualification in Finance environment
\n\tMinimum of 3-5 years\u2019 work experience in a financial accounting and project systems and fixed assets management environment
\n\tAdded advantage: procurement experience & good understanding of systems (SAP), controls, processes\/procedures
\n\tKnowledge of legislative and statutory requirements e.g. IFRS, PFMA, National Treasury Regulations and VAT
\n\tAdvanced computer literacy (MS Office Suite)<\/p>\n
Primary Duties<\/p>\n
\tAdhere to business policies & procedures
\n\tTimeous and accurate capturing of fixed assets, both movable and capital projects in the SAP FI \u2013 fixed assets module
\n\tEnsuring audit readiness by complying with IFRS standards
\n\tTimeous drafting and clearing of general ledger control accounts and reconciliation thereof
\n\tResolving problem items in connection with fixed asset transactions
\n\tPhysical asset verification
\n\tImpairment of assets to lower carrying value or recoverable amount
\n\tSystem changes \u2013 updated fixed assets module with current accounting standards and\/or policies
\n\tRecord residual values according to agreed policy and\/or acceptable accounting standards
\n\tReview and\/or change useful lives of assets annually
\n\tProject management \u2013 timeous capitalization of projects per asset components<\/p>\n

Rand Water was to supply water in bulk only. Water Supply 1905 It was only in 1905 that Rand Water commenced with full operations. By 1906 the annual daily consumption of water supplied by Rand Water was about 11 Ml\/d and it has been growing ever since.
